Engineering 1
Engineering 1 is an introductory course in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) with an emphasis on engineering design and problem solving. Students will use state of the art computer equipment along with the latest version of a very powerful drawing program called Rhino3D.
Career areas that use engineering CAD include engineering, construction, machining, aerospace, physical sciences, drafting, manufacturing and robotics with new applications being created all the time. Students will also learn and improve sketching skills found in all engineering fields. In addition to learning to visualize in 3 dimensions, students will be exposed to the Fab Lab. |
