Woods 1Woods 1 is a beginning-level woodworking course designed to familiarize students with basic woodworking procedures found in construction and manufacturing careers as well as more advanced applications. The material to be covered includes the student management system, planning and designing of projects; hand tools and power machinery; safety; woodworking joints; gluing and clamping procedures; and preparing and applying finishes to woodworking projects. Students will also explore other Industrial Manufacturing materials.
